ILLEGAL BIKE SEIZED
If you go down to the woods today, you're sure of a big surprise...
Instead of teddy bears, there were blue lights... and a couple of lads discovering their electric bike now belongs in the "police property" collection.
Following reports of illegal bikes in Tintwistle today (08.07.2026) officers from the local Safer Neighbourhood Team attended and 2 males 'made off' on foot leaving the bike behind - this has been seized and will be sent for destruction
We will continue to target the use of illegal bikes to make our streets safer
